A Steering Group of pediatricians from across the state meets by conference call quarterly to set and review the state legislative agenda and priorities of the MIAAP.
Specific Action Groups meet on an as needed basis to coordinate strategy, coordinate with other state organizations, and take action. Current action groups include:
- Medicaid for Children
- Child Passenger Safety
- Ban Lindane Effort
*All interested MIAAP members are welcome to participate.
*Parents, families, and community members are encouraged to contact us to share your concerns about legislation and policy that affects the well-being of children.
*Media representatives are encouraged to contact us with questions.
