Pediatric lymphadenopathy is common. Management depends on the duration, size, evolution and characteristics of the lymph node. An incomplete understanding of this may result in delayed diagnosis, unnecessary tests, unnecessary antibiotics, or unnecessary biopsy.
By reviewing pediatric cervical adenopathy, the learner will be able to fully understand the differential diagnosis and be able to provide management based on the best evidence.
