Lauren Azevedo, MS, DO FAAP                       Seceretary

Dr. Lauren Azevedo holds both a Master's Degree in Pharmacology and a DO Degree from MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Azevedo completed her Pediatric Residency and Internship at St. John Providence Hospital in Detroit, MI.  She is board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She has always had a passion for ethics and has served on the ethics committee of both St. John Hospital in Detroit, Sparrow Hospital in Lansing and the Michigan State Medical Society.  In addition, she is a strong advocate for healthcare and participated in the MIAAP Advocacy Elective in 2017 and she previously served as the resident representative on the board of the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She is currently an assistant professor at Michigan State University and maintains her clinical practice at MSU Pediatrics and the Ingham County Health Department.
