Headaches

Headaches in children are common. It is important to be able to distinguish features of benign type headaches from more sinister conditions.

This presentation will focus on evaluation of headaches in the primary care setting through a study of interesting cases.

Learning Objectives:

• Be able to identify "red flag" historical and physical exam features in children with headaches

• Demonstrate and apply knowledge of accepted standards in OPP appropriate to their specialty

• Expand differential diagnosis for headache conditions based on presenting features
