Lauren azevedo, DO                                resident representative

Lauren Azevedo is a 3rd year pediatric resident at St John Hospital currently serving as the Michigan AAP Resident Representative to the Board of Directors.  Prior to starting her residency, she completed a Master's Degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology and her medical school training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Her undergraduate education was at Western Michigan University, where she received bachelors degrees in both English and Biomedical Sciences.  Lauren has a special interest in adolescent health and advocacy and hopes to continue this work in her new position with MSU COM Pediatrics.  In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan, her horse, Luna, and her dog, Linus.
